Constructions & Cognition - DGKL 6 Erlangen - Sixth International Conference of the German Cognitive Linguistics Association, Erlangen, September 30 - October 2, 2014

The Conference

The German Cognitive Linguistics Association was founded in 2004 at an inaugural conference at the Universität Hamburg. Its aim is to encourage cognitive linguistics in Germany and to organize a bi-annual conference as a platform for the exchange of ideas between researchers from different paradigms in Germany and between the German and the international research communities. The second conference was held at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich in 2006, the third at the Universität Leipzig, the fourth at the Universität Bremen in 2010 and the fifth at the Universität Freiburg in 2012.

The Sixth International Conference of the German Cognitive Linguistics Association continues this tradition. Researchers from all over the world will meet for three days in September/October 2014 to present their current research from all research areas within the cognitive paradigm or to offer perspectives on language and cognition from related disciplines, such as psychology, psycholinguistics and artificial intelligence.

The Conference Committee is looking forward to welcoming you at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
